Job Title: Special Education Teacher (PDE Certification Areas: Special Education and/or Teacher of the Visually Impaired)

The Special Education Teacher will:
- Develop and provide specialized instruction based on the individual needs, strengths, and goals of each student.
- Serve as the IEP Case Manager for assigned students and facilitate all aspects of the IEP process.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate IEP goals and instructional objectives.
- Collect and analyze student data to evaluate progress and inform instruction.
- Collaborate with classroom support staff, related service providers, families, and other professionals.
- Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate instructional programming and ensure that student needs are addressed across educational environments.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s-level degree in Education or related field required ● Valid PA Certification in Special Education Certification or Blind/Visually Impaired Certification required
- Experience working with children and adolescents with complex learning, behavior, and/or sensory experience preferred
- Current child abuse, criminal history, and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
- Other skills required: use of individualized supports and technology as determined by the educational team.
